Movierulz Men in Black: International might reunite Marvel stars Chris Hemsworth and Tessa Thompson, but don’t expect them to poke fun at the MCU.
Although one Marvel gag involving a hammer can be seen in the trailer, Thompson told Digital Spy why they didn’t want too many references to their previous roles as Valkyrie and Thor.
“We did say that would be funny, but the truth is Hollywood has a long history of having actors over decades do lots of different roles together.
As much as I love Thor and Valkyrie and I hope to see them again, I think that we can do all sorts of things,” she said.

“So, for me, it was important for me to distance. We already have a Thor joke with the hammer.
But I want people to come with an open mind and see us in a new space.”
This extended to the classic Men in Black gag ‘revealing’ celebrities as aliens (such as Piers Morgan in the new action movie), but that didn’t stop Thompson suggesting some names for new alien possibilities.

“I made all kinds of suggestions. You have to get approval from the people and I think a couple of my suggestions were not as keen as I was,” she recalled.
“Every other day, I would [ask]. I just love that. That’s such an iconography of the part of the film.”
Hemsworth and Thompson have also been revealing their favourite deleted scene from the movie, as well as reflecting on Thor and Valkyrie’s ending in Avengers: Endgame.
Men in Black: International is released in cinemas on June 14.
